Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toniz Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins in the US and Mexico, is an American-Mexican sportscaster. Her current role is an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN who is also anchor for SportsCenter as well as hosting SportsNation. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a TV reporter. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been for a long time, starting at the age of nine. The ability to speak two languages allowed her to land her first position at Univision, Miami. She worked alongside national producers on shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her next job was as reporter for sports at CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. In 2009, she moved in Rio Grande Valley to work as a reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. Antonietta's parents were originally native to Veracruz Mexico. They moved at some point to Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November 1985. There is also an older sibling. In 1992, the family relocated to Miami after moving out of Mexico in the US. After a while the family split up, and, in 1995 Fabio Fajardo remarried. He died from kidney cancer in the year 2006. On a family vacation in Ohio, younger Collins had taken a position with her older sister. Antonietta had just graduated high school, however she knew what she was going to be doing. The campus was beautiful and offered the degree she was looking for. After completing the requirements for high school, she attended the University to pursue media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU in which she is a member. They had a very close relationship. Mark's passion for journalism and confidence in her own abilities instilled confidence in her. In turn, she was determined to achieve his standards and not disappoint him.
